Final ARFF of Current Design Delivered to Fortescue
Frontline Fire & Rescue has delivered the final appliance of its current Aviation Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) design to Fortescue’s Solomon site, marking a milestone as we transition to our new-generation AXR range.
Designed and manufactured in Western Australia, the appliance joins a platform that has supported critical emergency response operations across some of Australia’s most demanding environments.
Behind this completed vehicle is the combined effort of teams across Frontline. From design and fabrication through to fit-out, commissioning, testing and delivery, each stage reflects the skills and attention to detail involved in bringing a specialised emergency response appliance into service.
The handover marks the completion of this ARFF design and the beginning of the next chapter in Frontline’s vehicle development. Our new-generation AXR range builds on that experience, with performance, functionality and operational requirements at the forefront.
We thank Fortescue for entrusting Frontline with this build and recognise everyone involved in preparing the appliance for its next role at Solomon.
