Environment Policy
Frontline Fire & Rescue Equipment (FFRE) — based in Perth, Western Australia, and specialising in the design, fabrication and supply of new, and the refurbishment of used fire, rescue and emergency vehicle bodies; the supply and service of fire, rescue and emergency equipment - believes our workplace can minimise its environmental impact through control of our significant environmental aspects.
Our aim is to provide our customers with products and services of the highest standard, supplied to the agreed specifications, delivery schedules and budgets; and we are committed to providing our products and services in an environmentally aware and responsible manner in accordance with ISO 14001:2016 Environmental Management System.
FFRE is committed to having no negative environmental incidents, protecting the environment by preventing pollution and further improving our waste, water and energy management.
Working with our employees, contractors, suppliers and customers to fulfil our commitment, FFRE will:
- Continuously develop and evolve our Environmental Management System
- Set and monitor measurable objectives and targets to continually improve our processes and systems
- Communicate awareness on all platforms between employees, sub-contractors and clients
- Ensure legislative compliance and community obligations are being met on all projects
- Comply with all environmental laws, regulations, Codes of Practice, permits and licences
- Investigate environmental incidents, identify the root cause and implement corrective actions
- Provide visible leadership, adequate resources and ensure workplace standards are implemented, understood and maintained
- Operate in a manner that minimises the risk to the environment
- Ensure that an environmental aspect and impact assessment is conducted, documented and reviewed
- Promote appropriate standards of practice throughout all operating areas and monitor progress
- Work with our suppliers to ensure compliance with this policy and encourage environmentally responsible practices
