R6 ‘Rescue’ Challenger Multipurpose Helmet

The ‘Rescue’ Challenger introduces an innovation from Pacific Helmets – the Rescue Eye Protector.
It has been designed to integrate with the helmets headband using a ratchet hinge that controls deployment of the Rescue Eye Protector. The sliding hinge design allows the user to control the distance the Rescue Eye Protector is deployed from the face, introducing compatibility with a large range of spectacles.
The revised shape of the Rescue Eye Protector has improved side particle protection that exceeds the most stringent standards, including AS/NZS 1337.

- DUPONT™ KEVLAR® REINFORCED FIBREGLASS COMPOSITE SHELL provides integral strength and excellent penetration protection. This lightweight shell is chemical and UV resistant with inherent heat and flame resistance.
- POLYURETHANE CAP provides excellent shock impact absorption and a thermal barrier.
- ULTRASTOP PADDING provides additional shock absorption.
PREMIUM REFLECTIVE TRIM 8 piece 3M680 silver supplied fitted to the helmet for increased visibility. - EASI-ON-OFF (EOB) BASE FOR TORCH. Attach Underwater Kinetics or Adaro torch with a helmet clip (sold separately). Mounted on right hand side.
- CLEAR, CLIP-ON FACE SHIELD provides medium impact particle impact protection, with heat and flame resistance. Full face cover for excellent splash protection (Optional).
- RESCUE EYE PROTECTOR medium impact eye protection (I) that can be deployed easily with a gloved hand. Adjusts to suit user preference and accommodate different face shapes.
- EARMUFF BRACKETS Compatible with approved helmet attached earmuffs with a 25mm tongue.
- ACCESSORY STRAPS, front and rear rubber straps for securing approved helmet accessories like single strap goggles and headlamps.
- PACIFIC RATCHET ADJUSTABLE HEADBAND, sizing range from 52–65cm. Includes front and rear comfort padding.
- 6-POINT RIBBON SUSPENSION WITH MESH INSERT. Fully modular for decontamination and replacement. Mesh insert spreads weight evenly over the head.
- 4-POINT CHIN STRAP. Single handed adjustment at multiple locations for maximum comfort, fit and stability. Includes chin loop.
- PACIFIC LOW PROFILE BUCKLE can be secured, released, and adjusted.
- FLAME RESISTANT NECK PROTECTOR. 200mm long, black Nomex®, single layer.
- COMMS CLIP. Mounted on left hand side of the headband for Titan Boom Mic HUC-5.
- COLOUR. The Pacific R6 Challenger is available in a range of colours, white pictured.
